You have no idea how pleased
I am with the results of your mastering on this CD. I
must admit that I was quite used to the
way the original
tracks sounded so that the low end took me by surprise...ALMOST in a negative way. However, the next day, all
the nuances of the clear vocals and tight bass lines sank in
and I was in heaven. I especially like the work you
did on the second track "Questions." It has
that punch that was so lacking before. Again I want to

What struck me right away was the
how even everything sounded. I could turn up the
volume and it didn't distort or saturate my ears. The
changes were subtle. I liked the fades and the musical
flow, as you put it. The vocals all around sound very
open and breathe much better. You did a great job and

communication.

I am very satisfied my CD. Everything sounds so solid. It sounds like you
understood what I was trying to accomplish on each
track. You did a great job, especially considering
what you had to work with technically. I appreciate
your attempts to
compensate for my errors and the differing
tonality and sonics of the tracks. I wanted them to
sound like they all belong to the
same CD, and you
accomplished that in spades! You never asked me why I

I wanted to give you a little feedback on why I chose CD
Mastering Services. When I was searching the
Internet, I had an idea of my budget. Some guys were
charging $700-$1,000 for 48 minutes...which I thought was too
much. On the flip side, some guys were only charging
$200 bucks. I have an idea of what goes into mastering a project, and you usually
get what you pay for. Your prices were in the middle, so I
thought that was fair.
I think a good website is important. I found yours
easy to navigate and actually pretty informative (I read
almost all of it). You seemed to really have
knowledge of the subject matter and the fact that you've
been doing this over 20 years was definitely a plus!
I also looked to see what kind of projects you've done.
I liked how you had clients from different genres, as one
of the strengths of my music ministry is that I write in a
bunch of different styles.
Lastly, communication is super important to me. I contacted
you early to see if you were interested
in the project. I liked how you responded and you
were sincere in wanting to master my project. Steve Kropp

We are going to take this song, play it for several
drummers who are interested in playing with us, and then
going into a recording studio and doing several songs 'for
real'. We need the song to really have that hard rock
'punch' so these drummers will know what we are all about
and what kind of style we are looking for.
I think its great that you followed up on our project. We
have played for quite a while and most places are just
interested in getting the money and not really helping the
artists.

I received the CDs and they sound great! The
introduction, music, format, etc. was perfect. The quality of these
exceeded my highest
expectations. I thought they would be good, but not
this good! Quite frankly, you, my brother, are

the "hissing" out and improve the overall quality. I assure you we will be sending more work your
